Tech Stack

  • Unity (C#) used to develop the Measure AR application, including AR-based measurement tools and real-time streaming. Unity managed cross-platform deployment and interaction design.

  • Niantic Lightship ARDK enabled AR tracking, spatial mapping, and surface detection for precise, real-world measurements.

  • Unity Streaming Server (AWS EC2) a custom server hosted on AWS EC2 streamed the Unity application’s video feed, enabling the remote technician to view and guide measurement sessions in real time.

  • WebRTC Audio Integration audio communication was maintained using the existing WebRTC channel, even as the video stream transitioned to Unity’s camera feed.

  • Firebase used for session data storage, including captured measurements, timestamps, and device metadata.

  • Web Deployment & Device Support initial deployment targeted iOS via Hostcomm's Apple Developer account, with Android support planned.
